Not all tires are the same. There are many different types and sizes available depending on the vehicle model, performance, and purpose.
Here we will explain the points to consider when choosing tires that suit your driving lifestyle.
Here we will explain the points to consider when choosing tires that suit your driving lifestyle.
The role and performance of tires
Each tire the size of a postcard, which supports a precious life.
The role of tires
Tires have four main functions:
Supports the weight of the vehicle
Transmits driving and braking force to the road surfaceChange and maintain direction.Absorbs shock from the road surface
Tire performance
Although tires are generally referred to as such, each product has its own unique characteristics.
Tires that emphasize sports performance such as grip and handling
Tires that emphasize quietness and ride comfort
A tire that emphasizes a balance between sporty performance, quietness, and ride comfort
Tires that emphasize basic performance
Tires for special uses such as off-road and snowy roads
Consider the performance you prioritize when driving your car and choose the tires that are right for you.

How tire sizes are displayed
Please refer to the table on the left for how tire sizes are displayed.
In addition to the tire size, the side of the tire also displays the manufacturer name, product (brand) name, directional pattern markings, and other information.
Please check the size using the table on the left as a reference and contact us.
If you don't have a car nearby, please let us know the model, year, and grade of your car and we will check the standard tire size for you.

Directional Pattern Mark
Tires with this mark on the sidewall are unidirectional tires. Install the tire on your vehicle with the arrow pointing in the direction of tire rotation. Please note that tires with asymmetric directional patterns must be mounted according to the OUTSIDE and INSIDE markings.
About speed symbols
The speed rating indicates the maximum speed (maximum speed = capability) at which the tire can be driven under specified conditions.
*Maximum speed refers to the maximum speed that a vehicle can reach on a flat, paved road when equipped with that tire.
*1 ZR is the speed category.
*2 If the maximum speed exceeds 300 km/h, the speed category "ZR" as well as the load index and speed symbol Y are displayed in parentheses.
Example: 245/40ZR19 (94Y)

About Inch Up
If you want to take your driving and appearance to the next level, we recommend increasing the size of your wheels .
What is inch up?
What happens if you increase the size?
If you increase the size of the wheels, the aspect ratio of the tires will decrease.
Generally, the lower the aspect ratio, the better the driving performance, and the higher the aspect ratio, the better the comfort and economy.
When the tire size is increased, the aspect ratio of the tire decreases, which reduces deformation and deflection of the tire when braking or turning the steering wheel, and increases the tire's lateral rigidity, which is thought to result in the following characteristics.

Things to note when increasing the tire size
1. Pay attention to the load capacity of the tires
Please be careful not to let the load capacity (load index value) of the larger tire size fall below the load capacity (load index value) of the standard tire size.
2. Select a tire with a similar outer diameter
If the outer diameter of the tire changes significantly, it may cause errors in the speedometer or contact with the vehicle body.
3. No contact with the vehicle body or protrusion beyond the frame or fenders.(Based on road transport vehicle safety standards)
