Run-flat tires allow you to travel a certain distance even if the tire pressure drops to zero. It is capable of traveling 80 km at 80 km/h (※ 1) and is designed to withstand the journey to the nearest repair shop even in an emergency. Since it is difficult to determine if a run-flat tire has punctured, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that detects punctures by air pressure is installed.※ 2This allows you to deal with the unexpected occurrence of a flat tire without having to get out of the car.
Eliminating the need for a spare tire also brings about various other benefits, such as improved environmental performance through resource conservation, weight reduction, and fuel efficiency, as well as improved livability and design freedom.
However, due to factors such as high price and a hard ride, run-flat tires are not currently widely used except by some overseas manufacturers. There is a long awaited demand for the development of high-performance run-flat tires at an affordable price similar to conventional tires.

Immediately after installing new tires, the tire pressure may drop. For customers who purchase tires from Mr. Tireman, we will check the tire pressure and recheck (retighten) the wheel nuts free of charge after approximately 100 km of driving.
